Travis Tanasse, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Travis grew up in Yakima, WA.  He moved to California in 2003 following high school to participate in football and javelin at Butte College.  After completing two years at Butte, he transferred to Sacramento State University where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  Travis has practiced as a physical therapist since 2010, having treated many different musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. 

He is certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  Travis has also completed the Folsom Long-Term Manual Therapy Course and completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy Degree through A.T. Still University.  Outside of his professional career he enjoys spending time with his wife Cassidy, son Cooper, daughter Teagan, and dog Bella.  He is an avid cyclist and sports fan.  Travis’ other recreational interests include water skiing, softball, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

 

Sara Maretti, Physical Therapist Assistant

Sara grew up in Sacramento, CA and after graduation from high school attended Sacramento State University where she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Since the age of 10 she has been involved in figure skating, and participated in local competitions and shows before going on to become a professional figure skater to tour in Mexico after college graduation.

Upon returning to California she completed an Associate’s Degree for Physical Therapist Assistant  from Sacramento City College, and has been practicing as a PTA since 2020. She has obtained certificates in Mulligan Manual Therapy Conceptsfor Lower Quarter Spinal and Peripheral Manual Therapy Techniques, and has extensive experience in other manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilizations, massage, and trigger point therapy. Outside her professional career she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, ice skating, hiking, swimming, reading, and perfecting her nail art skills.
