Travis Tanasse, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS

Travis grew up in Yakima, WA.  He moved to California in 2003 following high school to participate in football and javelin at Butte College.  After completing two years at Butte, he transferred to Sacramento State University where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  Travis has practiced as a physical therapist for the last six years in a busy outpatient clinic having treated many different musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. 

He is certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  Travis has also completed the Folsom Long-Term Manual Therapy Course and most recently completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy through A.T. Still University.  Outside of his professional career he enjoys spending time with his wife Cassidy, son Cooper, and dog Bella.  He is an avid cyclist participating in CAT 4 road racing competitions in the area.  Travis’ other recreational interests include water skiing, softball, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.


Sarah Samuels, Physical Therapy Aide

Sarah was born and raised in Auburn, CA. She began playing competitive tennis at the age of 9 which led to her passion for health and fitness. While attending Placer High School, Sarah played varsity tennis where she won league and section titles her freshman and senior years.

Sarah started her professional career in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer. Sarah’s love for helping and working with people led her to pursue positions in physical therapy clinics. Sarah recently became a certified Barre Instructor. When Sarah’s not working in the clinic she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends, including her daughter and dog (Minnie). Sarah also enjoys cooking and creating new healthy recipes.
